Join us for a tropical-themed morning of golf, community, and giving back! The Lynnwood Par 4 Parks Golf Tournament – Aloha Style is a fun-filled scramble benefiting the Lynnwood Parks & Recreation Foundation. Proceeds support local youth by funding scholarships, summer camps, and recreation programs.​

Lynnwood Idol

The Lynnwood Arts Commission and Lynnwood Parks & Recreation Foundation present Lynnwood Idol 2025, a solo singing competition for students living in or attending school within the Edmonds School District boundaries. Participants compete in two categories: Grades K–5 and Grades 6–12. Winners in each category receive a $500 prize and the opportunity to perform at Lynnwood CELEBRATE!​

Key Dates:

  • April 30: Application and video submission deadline
  • May 15: Finalists announced (10 per age category)
  • June 1: In-person Finals audition at Edmonds College Black Box Theatre
  • June 27, 6–9 PM: Winners perform at Lynnwood CELEBRATE!​

Audition Process:

  • Submit a video audition (max 2 minutes) by April 30
  • Finalists selected by the Lynnwood Arts Commission
  • Finals judged in person by a panel with music and performance backgrounds​

Performance Guidelines:

  • Songs can be from any genre and must be appropriate
  • The same song must be used for all stages: audition, finals, and performance
  • No a cappella performances; singers may use backing tracks or self-accompany​

Additional Opportunities:

  • Finalists can schedule a free coaching session with a professional singer between May 15 and May 30​
